About the event
This 18 month herbalism intensive is an "undergrad" of sorts. It teaches holistic health (and how to think like an herbalist, rather than the modern biochemical model of medicine we are more familiar with), medicine making, anatomy and physiology, plant identification, cultivation, wildcrafting, harvesting, processing, and much more!
The class is structured as half lecture, reading, and videos and half hands-on activitities. In cold months, msot hands-on work is learning about medicine making and in the warm months we move outdoors where the plants live!
Your teacher and guide is Lily Kunning, a trained herbalist with over a decade of experience. She has a clinical practice, has owned a brick and mortar herb shop, formulates for Haven Herbs, and writes and teaches classes.
